Where to Stay

I receive many requests for ideas on where to stay while visiting Gloucestershire to see the Severn Bore.

I do not keep a list of accommodation but am happy to add any recommendations you may have to this page. Alternatively, click on one the links below to search for accommodation via Ask.com

B&B at Arlingham, Glos. - Diana Merrett
Priory Cottages - Newnham on Severn, Glos.
Sequoia Lodge
Tythe House B&B - Frampton-on-Severn
Lea House - "We stayed at Lea House in the Spring when we were visiting from Canada.  Luckily it was the time of the Bore which we much enjoyed seeing.  Lea House is a lovely place to stay.  It is about 15 mins drive to Minsterworth, which is one of the best places to view the Bore from and, once it has passed you have plenty of time to get back in the car and follow it up to Gloucester where you can see it again.

Caroline was a mine of useful information and extremely charming hostess." - Alison Hoy

Wye Valley & Forest of Dean Tourism Association
Castle Lodge Hotel, Wilton, Ross-on-Wye
Grove Farm Bed and Breakfast, Newnham on Severn
The Wyndham Arms, Clearwell
Laurel Cottage, Chaxhill (4* Holiday Cottage)
