When To See The Bore

The bore is generally at its largest around the equinoxes, although this may vary depending upon whereabouts we are in the 9 year cycle. I calculate a full timetable every year using Arrowsmith's Severn Tide Tables booklet which is normally published around October.

Click on the link for the appropriate year to the left to see the times for the bore.
